Millpond Cabins
| MILL POND CABINS (known for many years as Cap's Place) is located approximately 1 1/2 hours north east of Toronto, not far from the town of Lindsay and the city of Peterborough. Built by Captain Fred Evans after the First World War, the property has attracted vacation guests for many years for great fishing and quality 'R & R'. Descendants of the Captain still reside in Omemee, fish the Mill Pond and share wonderful tales. |  |
| The Mill Pond was created with the construction of the dam at Omemee and is much larger than the term 'pond' might suggest. The abundance of logs and stumps under the water provide great cover for the thriving fish population. Many a great fish story has come out of Mill Pond! |  |
